## Pediatric neuropsychological evaluation

Up to age 21

Comprehensive pediatric neuropsychological evaluations that clarify the learning, attention, developmental and emotional factors affecting a child's schoolwork and daily life. Testing covers intellectual functioning, language, memory, attention, executive functioning, visual-motor and fine motor skills, academic achievement, social perception and emotional and behavioral functioning. It can help sort out ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities such as dyslexia, dysgraphia and dyscalculia, anxiety, depression, intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, genetic syndromes, language disorders and giftedness. It begins with a free consultation, then an individualized plan. Children typically need two or more sessions, with total testing of about 6 to 12 hours. A feedback session and a detailed written report with recommendations follow. Individual psychotherapy for children is also offered. A limited number of reduced-fee appointments are available.
