## ABA consultation via telehealth

Applied behavior analysis consultation for families, delivered mainly through HIPAA-compliant telehealth. Parents and caregivers record real-time parent-child interactions and behaviors on a smartphone, tablet or laptop and receive recommendations by video conference, text or phone. Services are customized to the client and based on behavior analytic science. Goals target skills that build independent living, and positive strategies are used when problem behaviors interfere with learning. An initial consultation may take place in the home or remotely, and it is used to decide whether telehealth alone or a mixed in-home and telehealth model fits. The practice also offers the Triple P Positive Parenting Program, parent training for parents of typically developing children, second opinions, resource guidance and advocacy help for families in Southern California. A local comprehensive assessment is available in Los Angeles for serious cases.
