## The Pines Christian School (K–5)

The Pines Christian School is a private Christian school that calls itself the Christian alternative to public education, with a traditional Christian curriculum that the school says also meets California (CDE) benchmarks. Both campuses are open 6:00 am to 6:00 pm on weekdays, and breakfast, lunch and snacks are included in tuition. Flexible before- and after-school daycare runs Monday through Friday and during Easter, Christmas and summer breaks, and the school says it is closed only 13 days a year. On-site after-school lessons include tutoring, karate, dance, guitar and piano.
