## Bully-Safe and Martial Arts Summer Camps

Martial arts camp · Ages 6–15 · $225–$275/week · 9am–12:30pm

Both camps are built to help children and teens deal with bullying, intimidation and peer pressure, and also sharpen jiu-jitsu and problem-solving skills. Most of the time is spent learning and practicing jiu-jitsu, mixed with conflict resolution, self-defense, life skills, nutrition education and games. Every camper gets a camp T-shirt, and a jiu-jitsu uniform is provided at no extra cost if they do not have one. Instructors are full-time martial arts instructors. In 2026, the first session ran June 15 to 19, 9:00 am to 12:30 pm, at $275 ($225 for early sign-up), with discounts for additional campers in a family.

## Kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Classes

Martial arts class · Ages 5–15

Groups are Young Champions (ages 5 to 8), Young Champions II (6 to 10), Youth I (8 to 12) and Youth II to Teen (12 to 15). Kids learn goal-setting, discipline, teamwork, focus and listening, along with anti-bullying strategies and the fundamentals of self-defense. Class start times are listed on the schedule; a free private intro lesson is offered. There is also a Kids and Parents class on the last Saturday of odd-numbered months.

## About Caique Jiu Jitsu

A Brazilian jiu-jitsu academy in Lomita led by Master Caique Elias and his sons Pedro and Thomaz Elias, with kids' classes in four age groups from 5 to 15, adult classes, self-defense, and summer bully-safe and martial arts camps. Kids work from white belt toward black belt, with anti-bullying strategies and self-defense built in.
