## In-home early intervention therapy (OT, speech, PT)

Up to age 3

Early intervention therapy for children 0-3, delivered in the family's home and community. Occupational therapy (60-minute sessions), speech therapy and physical therapy address fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing and modulation, expressive and receptive language, articulation, oral motor and feeding, social-emotional and self-help skills, using purposeful play and multi-sensory strategies. OT techniques include sensory integration, neuro-developmental theory and developmental oral motor/feeding techniques. Therapists assess current functioning, build an individualized plan, and give families home programs and sensory diets; parents are encouraged to take part in sessions. Diagnoses served include prematurity, cerebral palsy, brain injuries, autism, torticollis, spina bifida, Down syndrome and developmental delays.
