## Pediatric physical therapy

Up to age 18

Play-based, family-centered physical therapy for children from birth through 18, in a clinic on Ventura Blvd in Encino. Every session is one-on-one with the child's therapist, not handed off to aides. Care starts with a first evaluation of movement, strength and milestones, then an individualized plan, and caregivers are coached through a home program. Conditions listed include developmental and gross-motor delays, torticollis and plagiocephaly, cerebral palsy and tone differences, toe-walking and gait abnormalities, coordination, balance and core-strength challenges, genetic and neuromuscular conditions, and teen sports injuries and post-surgical rehab. Open Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. In-network with Blue Shield; other PPO plans are seen out-of-network with a superbill. New patients begin with a benefits check. Adults are seen too, for orthopedic rehab.
