## LIFE adaptive and social skills coaching and group program

Individual coaching and group programs created by Dr. Jewel M. Mazor, PsyD, aimed at social competence and adaptive skills. Individual coaching covers communication, social competence skills, perspective taking, mindfulness, ADD coaching, twice exceptional (2e) learners, parents of children with special needs, and a Prepare to Launch track that prepares young adults for living on their own. The LIFE Adult Group Program, for ages 18 to 35, uses engaging activities and real-world or virtual experiences to build executive functioning, pragmatic language, social competence, academic and vocational readiness, daily living, environmental awareness and community engagement. The practice is on the North Los Angeles County Regional Center vendor list for adaptive skills training. The office is in Encino and is open Monday to Friday 9am to 8pm and Sunday 10am to 6pm. The group program is for adults, so it fits older teens and young adults rather than young children.
