Two models are offered: early intensive (comprehensive) ABA, typically 25 to 30 hours a week of one-to-one therapy for children under three and 30 to 40 hours for age three and up, and focused ABA, typically 15 hours or less a week, for a limited set of behaviors or skills. For children under five, an intensive program often starts at home or in the clinic and gradually moves into a preschool or other group setting. Services can happen at home, at the center, at the child's school, or a combination, and include program design and supervision, parent training and social skills groups. Funding is through regional centers (Harbor, Lanterman, North Los Angeles County) and school districts as a certified nonpublic agency.
