## ABA and speech therapy for children with autism

Up to age 18

ABA therapy and speech and language therapy for children with autism spectrum disorder, delivered by BCBAs and RBTs at the Elk Grove center. Young children start in Sprouts (ages 0-4) or Sprigs (ages 4-6); Explorers (ages 7-12) and Trailblazers (ages 13-18) are reserved for current clients. A BCBA begins with an assessment of caregiver interviews and direct observation, then writes an individual treatment plan. Plans are either focused, targeting one or two priority areas, or comprehensive, from 10 to 40 hours a week. The center is open Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm. Services can be center, home, community or school based, depending on the location. BlueSprig works with commercial plans, TRICARE, Medicaid, school districts and private pay.
