## Kids art classes

Ages 2–11 · $450/term

Process-oriented art classes for ages 2-11, where the focus is on exploring materials rather than on how the finished piece looks. Classes for ages 2-5 (Process Play and Process Art) are one hour, run in sessions of 4 or 5 weeks, and ask a parent or caregiver to stay and take part. School-age classes such as ceramics, printmaking, potion making and tiny worlds run 10 or 11 weeks and are more technique-based, with the child still making their own decisions. Every class follows the same routine: a warm-up, a story, song or look at source material, then the main art project. Materials include clay, paint, fabric, beads and recycled items, and the little-kid classes use sensory-based materials. Families who have a child on the spectrum or with a learning challenge are asked to contact the studio before registering to discuss fit. Single trial classes are not offered, and missed classes are not prorated.
