## CAN Clinic diagnostic evaluations and treatment

Up to age 21

A UCLA clinic offering comprehensive diagnostic evaluations that include cognitive and developmental measures, psychodiagnostic interviews such as the ADOS-2, and a meeting with a clinical social worker. It also offers treatment evaluations, brief consultations for families seeking recommendations on diagnosis or treatment, psychiatric medication evaluations and management by child and adolescent psychiatrists, and neurological evaluations by a pediatric neurologist who specializes in autism and related genetic conditions. Cognitive behavior therapy is time-limited, 16 to 24 weekly outpatient sessions, for youth from preschool age to young adults, with a family-based approach, targeting anxiety, depression, social skills and behavioral flexibility. The JASPER early intervention program for ages 18 months to 8 is on hold. Psychiatry is not currently open to adult patients.
