## Floortime Play Therapy

Up to age 17

Developmental play therapy and adaptive skills therapy based on the DIR®/Floortime™ model of Drs. Stanley Greenspan and Serena Wieder, which centers each child's interests, strengths and challenges and uses relationships to support social and emotional development. Sessions are led by Clayton Johnson, a licensed marriage and family therapist and certified Floortime provider, and are aimed at children for whom play is hard to start or sustain because of biological, neurological, physiological or environmental challenges. There is no insurance coding for Floortime or adaptive skills therapy at present. Families can pay privately or use regional center funding, including the Self-Determination Program. The practice is vendored with Frank D. Lanterman, Westside and San Gabriel Pomona Regional Centers, and offers a free phone consultation.
