## Neuropsychological evaluation

Neuropsychological assessments include record review, clinical interviewing, direct observation and standardized testing. Areas assessed include intellect, academics (reading, math, writing), language, visual and spatial skills, motor coordination, learning and memory, attention and executive skills, emotion and behavior, and adaptive functioning. Conditions evaluated include ADHD, learning differences (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia), language disorder, dyspraxia, giftedness, intellectual disability, autism, anxiety, depression, concussion and brain injury, and epilepsy. Results and tailored recommendations are discussed shortly after assessment and come with a comprehensive report. Afterward Dr. Gottlieb coordinates care with educators and other providers such as educational therapists, speech and occupational therapists, and school placement specialists, and is available for ongoing consultation.
