## Summer Camp

Ages 5–12

Week-long summer day camps that blend child-led exploration and play with facilitated activities: nature crafts, nature awareness games, and naturalist studies such as learning local plants and animals and identifying animal tracks. Water play is a big part of camp, and kids wear life jackets in the water. Groups have 5-6 kids per Forest Mentor. Kids bring a sack lunch, snack, water and weather-appropriate clothes. Camps run in Davis, Sacramento, Folsom Lake and Lincoln, and Little Coyotes summer camp is offered too. Camp is cancelled on days with AQI above 100 or extreme heat, with a 50% refund of the day's tuition. Tuition assistance is available, and families identifying as Black and/or Indigenous to the US get 40% off. 2027 schedules and registration are expected in early 2027.
