## AquaMonsters Summer Swim Team and Little Monsters

Ages 4–13

Davis AquaMonsters places swimmers in groups by age and skill. Little Monsters (ages 4-6) is a small-group learn-to-swim program covering floating, kicking, body position, air exchange and water safety, with no meets. Big Monsters (ages 5-8) is for kindergarteners and older who can swim 12.5 yards of freestyle and introduces the four strokes. White Group (ages 9-12) builds stroke technique, and Red Group (ages 9-13) is a competitive track with structured training and expected meet participation. Meet participation is optional in Big Monsters and White Group. Summer team members get free bonus practices at Schaal Aquatics Center, UC Davis, and the team pays league meet fees. Goggles are required. Prices are not posted on the pages.

## About Davis AquaMonsters

Davis AquaMonsters is a nonprofit summer recreation and USA Swimming competition team in Davis. It runs groups from a small-group learn-to-swim program for ages 4 to 6 (Little Monsters) through non-competitive and competitive team groups, with swim meets run by parent volunteers. A separate Monster Swim School at Get Fit Davis Sport offers lessons in a warm outdoor pool, though its page carries an old notice that lessons are suspended.
