It is meant for young children with developmental differences, neurodivergence or social anxiety, and it uses play as the way to build connection with peers. The group is led by Savannah Sweet, PhD, and is based in South Pasadena, which makes it a practical option for families in Pasadena, South Pasadena and the surrounding San Gabriel Valley and northeast Los Angeles areas. It suits parents looking for a small-age-band, relationship-based alternative to behavior-focused social skills classes for a preschool or kindergarten-age child.","categories":["social-skills"],"ages":{"min":4,"max":6},"format":"in-person","health":{"specialties":["DIR Floortime","Social skills group","Play skills"],"practitioners":["Savannah Sweet, PhD"]},"traits":{"specialNeeds":"focused","conditions":["developmental-delay","anxiety-depression"],"groupSize":["small-group"],"goals":["social"],"topics":["dir-floortime","peers","play-skills","neurodivergent","social-anxiety"]}}],"source":{"fetched":"2026-10-12"},"updated":"2026-10-12","checked":null,"closed":null,"sample":false}
