Children choose from classes in fine arts (ceramics, jewelry making, photography), dance and performing arts (ballet, tap, acting, musical theater), music and singing (piano, strings, percussion, orchestra, choir), cooking and gardening, fitness (swimming, martial arts, yoga) and film and digital media. They learn alongside TLC's adult day and residential participants. Doors are open daily 3:30 to 7:30 PM, and children must take at least one lesson a week and may take up to 20. A parent or guardian stays on campus during lessons. The program is free for children with developmental disabilities as an authorized regional center provider, and siblings' classes are free through a scholarship. Registration is ongoing, and the program runs year-round including summer. Families come from Reseda, Encino, Tarzana, Woodland Hills, Northridge and nearby. A Spanish-language brochure is available. Showcases, performances and art exhibits are held.","categories":["art","music","dance","theater","film-media","cooking","martial-arts","swimming"],"ages":{"min":5,"max":17},"format":"in-person","price":{"amount":0,"unit":"program","note":"Free for children with developmental disabilities as a regional center provider; sibling classes free through a scholarship."},"financialAid":true,"registration":{"status":"open"},"afterschool":{"meetings":[{"location":"main","days":["mon","tue","wed","thu","fri"],"start":"15:30","end":"19:30"}]},"traits":{"specialNeeds":"supported","insurance":["regional-center"],"goals":["creativity","confidence","social","performance","independence","wellbeing","skills","fitness"],"parents":"watch","showcase":true,"commitment":"ongoing","structure":"mixed","feel":"An inclusive arts campus where children of all abilities choose their own classes and share the space with adult students.","topics":["creative-arts","inclusive","regional-center-funded","sibling-scholarship","san-fernando-valley","typically-developing-siblings-welcome","vendored-lanterman","vendored-nlacrc","free","gardening","yoga"],"acceptingNew":true}}],"source":{"url":"https://tlc4blind.org","name":"Lanterman Regional Center vendor list (Network of Care), October 2026","fetched":"2026-10-12"},"updated":"2026-10-12","checked":null,"closed":null,"sample":false}
