Over roughly 8 weeks, children learn age-appropriate self-rescue skills such as floating, breathing and swimming independently, and in the final week they practice in clothing. Parents watch from the sidelines and do not get in the pool. Refresher lessons (Monday to Friday for two weeks) and weekly maintenance lessons (five weeks, or ongoing) keep skills sharp. Each session takes no more than 10 new students, and scheduling is by application through a notification list. The program starts at $2,895, with payment plans available. Caitlin works with children with disabilities, sometimes needing pediatrician approval. In-home lessons are not offered at this time.","categories":["swimming"],"ages":{"min":0,"max":5},"price":{"amount":2895,"unit":"program","note":"Lesson program starts at $2,895; payment plans available."},"tutoring":{"subjects":["Survival swim","Self-rescue swim skills","Infant swim lessons"],"levels":["Infants","Toddlers"],"modes":["at-location"]},"traits":{"setting":"outdoor","parents":"watch","groupSize":["one-on-one"],"commitment":"term","structure":"structured","competition":"none","intensity":"intensive","goals":["skills","life-skills"],"topics":["survival-swim","self-rescue","water-safety","infant-swim"],"feel":"A structured, firm-but-fun private program focused on water safety and self-rescue skills rather than splashing and songs.","specialNeeds":"supported"}}],"source":{"url":"https://www.cmswimco.com/","fetched":"2026-10-13"},"updated":"2026-10-13","checked":"2026-10-13","closed":null,"sample":false}
