It runs Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and its half-day option runs from 8:00 a.m. to noon. The school is licensed for up to 128 children, and its stated ratio for preschool is one teacher to five children. Teachers are AMS and AMI certified. Mandarin and Spanish are taught daily at all campuses, with French and Tagalog also offered at Downey, and there is a language immersion option. Downey is listed with meals included. The school accepts DCFS vouchers and other childcare subsidies, and tuition varies by schedule, so the website gives a separate tuition page for each campus. Children do not need to be potty trained to enroll. The school says it has no waitlist and most families can start within the week, with tours in person or by Zoom.","categories":["preschool","infant-care"],"ages":{"min":0,"max":6},"childcare":{"setting":"center","license":"198400903","capacity":128,"hours":[{"days":["mon","tue","wed","thu","fri"],"start":"07:00","end":"18:00"}]},"traits":{"methods":["montessori","immersion"],"offers":["tk"],"schedule":["full-day","half-day","year-round"],"subsidized":true,"includes":["meals"],"ratio":5,"acceptingNew":true,"topics":["mandarin"],"feel":"A year-round Montessori school in Downey where toddlers, preschoolers and TK children learn daily Mandarin and Spanish alongside English phonics."}}],"source":{"url":"https://montessori-academy.com","fetched":"2026-10-09"},"updated":"2026-10-09","checked":null,"closed":null,"sample":false}
