It serves kindergarten through twelfth grade, so students are about five to eighteen years old. The state directory lists it as an alternative school of choice with a virtual model, and its name points to an arts and entertainment focus. Because it is a school of choice, students enroll through the district's choice process rather than by home address. Instruction is delivered online, so families need a home internet connection and a device for their child. The office is at 1254 East Helmick Street in Carson. It suits a family whose child wants a free, fully online public school with an arts and entertainment focus, from kindergarten through high school.","categories":["public-school"],"format":"online","ages":{"min":5,"max":18},"grades":{"min":0,"max":12},"price":{"amount":0,"unit":"year","note":"Tuition-free public school."},"school":{"sector":"public","district":"Los Angeles Unified","code":"19647330141572"},"traits":{"faith":"secular","priceLevel":"budget","subsidized":true,"offers":["arts"],"staff":["credentialed-teachers"],"feel":"A free, fully online public school for kindergarten through twelfth grade with an arts and entertainment focus.","topics":["virtual-school","school-of-choice"]}}],"source":{"url":"https://aevs.lausd.org","fetched":"2026-10-09"},"updated":"2026-10-09","checked":null,"closed":null,"sample":false}
