## Center-based Parent & Me early intervention classes

Up to age 3

A group-based, family-centered early intervention program in which parent and child attend together. Two 3-hour classes run Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM, and families can attend 1 to 5 sessions a week. After a welcome circle time, children rotate through 15-minute centers: learning, art, dramatic play, language room and a gross motor and sensory room (Spectroom). The routine targets social-emotional development (pro-social behavior, self-regulation, parent-child attachment, peer interaction), school readiness skills (turn taking, following instructions, self-help) and parent involvement. The ratio is 3:1, with a goal-geared curriculum, field trips, exposure to community resources and parent and staff workshops. The agency is a separate vendor (HL0501) and also lists social skills group classes.
