## Virtual Academy of the Arts & Entertainment (K-12)

Ages 5+ · Free

Virtual Academy of the Arts & Entertainment is a tuition-free public online school run by the Los Angeles Unified School District. It serves kindergarten through twelfth grade, so students are about five to eighteen years old. The state directory lists it as an alternative school of choice with a virtual model, and its name points to an arts and entertainment focus. Because it is a school of choice, students enroll through the district's choice process rather than by home address. Instruction is delivered online, so families need a home internet connection and a device for their child. The office is at 1254 East Helmick Street in Carson. It suits a family whose child wants a free, fully online public school with an arts and entertainment focus, from kindergarten through high school.
