## Preschool, Toddler and Pre-K

Ages 2–5

A Gr8 Beginning Academy is a licensed private preschool and day care center on East Carson Street in Carson, and its state license allows up to 75 children. It takes children from about two to five years old in three programs: Preschool for two- and three-year-olds, Toddler for three- and four-year-olds, and Pre-K for four- and five-year-olds. The Pre-K program adds reading, writing, math and problem solving, and the rooms are arranged as learning centers and themed learning environments. The school says it asks parents to take part in their child's learning, and it has a tour page for families who want to see the rooms before enrolling. The Pre-K class is for children who are four or five, the year before kindergarten.
