Speech and language evaluation and therapy for children, offered in the office, at the child's home, school or daycare, or online by video. An evaluation takes about 1 to 1.5 hours: the therapist takes a parent case history of milestones and medical history, gives standardized tests suited to the child's age, and then provides a detailed written report with strengths, weaknesses and an individualized plan of care with goals. Therapy sessions run 25 or 45 minutes, with materials chosen to match the child's goals and interests. A 20-minute informal screening for ages 2-6 is done at school or daycare to check kindergarten readiness, and a free 30-minute phone consultation helps decide whether a full evaluation is needed. Serves Calabasas, Agoura, Woodland Hills, Encino, Tarzana, West Hills, Sherman Oaks and Brentwood. It does not bill health insurance (out-of-network, with superbills provided) and is vendored with NLACRC for regional center families.
