## TES Horse Camp

Outdoor and nature camp · Ages 6–12 · $159–$760 · 9am–3pm

Camp runs rain or shine, with no make-up days for bad weather. Helmets are loaned to campers who do not bring one. Campers need jeans or breeches and their own riding boots. Campers can add a 30-minute private lesson after camp.

## Birthday parties

Party venue · Ages 3–12

Pony birthday parties at Traditional Equitation School are two-hour bookings on Saturdays and Sundays, from 10:00 to 12:00 or 1:30 to 3:30, at 480 W. Riverside Drive in Burbank. Children aged 4 and older may ride if they weigh under 80 pounds; children 13 and older and adults may not ride. Rides run with one, two or three ponies, and each child gets a horse-themed craft and a helmet. Guests may feed the horses carrots, apples or cucumbers, and may bring their own food; pizza may be delivered, but caterers, food trucks, balloons and piñatas are not allowed. Parties take up to 12 children, though the FAQ also allows 15 children aged 3 and up, who count toward the total even if they do not ride. Ten percent of proceeds goes to Star Horses. ## About Traditional Equitation School

Horseback riding school at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center in Burbank, open since 1981. It runs riding lessons and a horse camp for ages 6 to 12 in spring, summer, fall, winter and on school holidays.
