## Brentwood Science (K-5)

Ages 5–11 · Free

Brentwood Science is a tuition-free public school at 740 Gretna Green Way in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles, run by the Los Angeles Unified School District. It serves kindergarten through fifth grade, so students are about five to eleven years old. The state directory classes it as an alternative school of choice and marks it as a magnet school, and its name points to a science focus. Because it is a school of choice rather than a neighborhood school, students enroll through the district's choice process instead of by home address. It is an in-person school, not an online one. It suits a Westside family looking for a free elementary school built around science, with a choice-based magnet program.
