## Neuropsychological and Neurodevelopmental Evaluations

Up to age 21

Evaluations of how a child's brain works across attention, learning, memory, emotional regulation and social skills. Babies and toddlers have play-based neurodevelopmental assessments, sometimes with a parent taking part; older children and teens do paper-and-pencil, block, puzzle and computer tasks. Areas covered include ADHD, autism testing, learning differences, giftedness and twice-exceptional learners, concussion and return-to-learn planning, school readiness, and complex medical conditions. Families get a written report with recommendations (including for IEPs and 504 Plans) and referrals, mailed about 2 to 3 weeks after the evaluation. Other services include Independent Education Evaluations, IEP meeting advocacy, and school consultations. A free 15-minute consultation is offered. The office is at 930 S. The Children’s Neuropsychology Center is a pediatric neuropsychology practice founded in 2024 by Dr. Viannae Carmona Nelkin, PsyD, a licensed pediatric neuropsychologist. It evaluates babies, toddlers, children, adolescents and young adults, using a neurodiversity-affirming approach. The office is on S. Robertson Blvd, at the junction of Beverly Hills and Los Angeles. A second pediatric neuropsychologist, Dr. Dianne Kong, PsyD, is also on the team.
