## Pediatric neuropsychological evaluation

Up to age 17

Comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for children and adolescents of any age, used to diagnose learning disorders such as dyslexia, attention disorders such as ADHD, memory disorders, autism spectrum disorders, emotional difficulties, and cognitive effects of medical problems such as traumatic brain injury, seizure disorders and genetic disorders. An evaluation takes about 5 to 6 hours, usually scheduled in blocks of 1.75 to 2 hours over 3 days, with a parent meeting before the first session. Results are reviewed with parents about a week after the last session, and a written report follows in one to two more weeks. Findings guide recommendations such as psychotherapy, school-based interventions, academic accommodations, speech, occupational and educational therapy. Virtual testing materials are also sent out. The office is at 9401 Wilshire Blvd, Suite 730, with building parking available.
