## Early intervention for regional center clients

Early intervention · Up to age 5

Therapeutic educational services for young children who are regional center clients, delivered both at home and at the center. Home visit teachers work one on one with children and their families in their natural environment, and consulting occupational, physical and speech therapists work with children at the Center, communicating regularly with families and regional center service coordinators. The center describes this as wrap-around care for young children who need extra attention. APC is vendored with Eastern Los Angeles Regional Center and Lanterman Regional Center, so services are funded through the regional center; families are directed to contact their service coordinator with questions. Staff include Kate Crowley, consulting occupational therapist, and a bilingual English and Spanish lead teacher experienced with autism, speech delay and developmental delay. The same site runs an inclusive preschool for ages 2 to 5 in Atwater Village.
