## Psychological and developmental assessment

Up to age 21

Evaluation and educational testing that screens for learning disorders, clarifies ADHD, identifies autism, and measures intelligence, achievement and development across language, social, adaptive and motor skills. Each includes record review, a developmental history interview, standardized tests, observation at home or school when relevant, consultation with current providers, a comprehensive written report and a feedback session with the family. Reports include recommendations and behavior support planning, and diagnostic assessment can establish medical necessity for autism services. ACT is a California certified nonpublic agency, and FBAs can be done at home or school. Medi-Cal and several commercial plans are accepted, and the first assessment is typically scheduled within 2-3 weeks.
