## Home-based speech and language therapy

Up to age 12

Home-based speech and language consultations, evaluations, assessments and therapy for toddlers, preschoolers and school-aged children, provided by Erin Glowe, M.A., CCC-SLP. Diagnoses served include autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, childhood apraxia of speech, speech and language delays, oral motor disorders, expressive language disorders, articulation and phonological disorders, and pragmatic/social language disorders. Each child gets a therapy plan with measurable goals; sessions are typically 60 minutes, one to two times per week, with feedback and at-home practice activities after each session. Family participation is part of the approach. Evaluations for birth-to-three include a written report. Care happens in homes in Pasadena, South Pasadena, San Marino, Alhambra, Arcadia, Monrovia, Glendale, Altadena and nearby, and in some daycares or preschools if the facility allows. Early Start funding is accepted from ELARC, Lanterman and San Gabriel-Pomona regional centers.
