## Buddy Building Summer Camp

Ages 8–15 · 9am–3:30pm

A four-week day camp on Dr. Lesli's ranch in Agoura Hills for twice-exceptional (2e) children and young adolescents, ages 8 to 15, primarily highly gifted kids with learning and behavioral challenges such as ADHD, autism, Asperger's, ODD, learning disabilities, speech/language disabilities and emotional disabilities. Campers practice self-awareness, team-building, sportsmanship, conflict resolution, self-reflection and cooperative play through sports, art and nature activities, spending as much time outdoors as possible and working with the ranch animals. Community skills are practiced on museum visits, scavenger hunts and other field trips. A reward system lets campers earn Buddy Bucks to redeem for prizes. The 2026 session runs June 15 to July 10, 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with drop-off 8:30 to 9:00. A consultation with Dr. Preuss is required before a new camper is accepted.

Preuss & Associates is a private clinical psychology practice led by Dr. Lesli Preuss, a licensed clinical psychologist (CA Lic# 23829), with offices in Studio City and Agoura Hills. The practice works with children, adolescents, parents and families, with a focus on twice-exceptional, gifted and ADHD kids, and uses animal-assisted therapy. Dr. Lesli also runs the Buddy Building Summer Camp on her ranch in Agoura Hills and a monthly Buddy Group on the third Saturday of the month.
